Fire Mountain Wines LLC is a Native American majority owned winery, rooted in the beautiful Verde Valley of Central Arizona.  Fire Mountain Wines has a deep connectivity to the Region and is proud to be a part of the growing Arizona winemaking culture.  We are committed to producing high quality wines that are both approachable and age-worthy.

We source our fruit from the Southwest and California, and honor the opportunity to do so.  We recognize the importance of a strong local economy and believe that returning the Verde Valley to its agricultural foundation will benefit now and generations to come.  Fire Mountain Wines has a long term goal of planting vineyards locally on the ancestral lands of the Yavapai and Apache people.

In 2013 Fire Mountain Wines proudly partnered with locally celebrated winemaker John Scarbrough, formerly the assistant winemaker at Page Springs Cellars.  Fire Mountain Wines plans to grow to a national distribution level while maintaining a strong Arizona presence and a commitment to the local region.

In the Apache language “Fire Mountain” symbolizes the transition between day and night, light and dark, being and vibration, as the circle of life ends and begins again.  This sacred universal process and force of change is also expressed by the grape’s vine as it digs into the earth and reaches for the sky, creating fruit from the lands that eventually transforms into our wine. The Fire Mountain Wines Tasting Room is located in Historic Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona and is open seven days a week for you to come and enjoy.
